CHARLEY'S CRAB - Is walkable, about 7 blocks due north of the motel set back west of NE 33 rd Avenue on 32 nd .   If you go, make sure you get there before sunset, and make sure you get a table outside on the Intracoastal Waterway.   The sun setting behind the yachts gliding past is gorgeous, and the seafood is marvelous.    http://www.muer.com/locations/chcrab-ftlaud/chcrab-ftlaud.html

THE GREEK ISLANDS - ohmigoshthisplaceissogood.   Classic, authentic and savory.   We love this place, especially the front terrace for a slow meal with good friends.   The souvlaki is outstanding, the lamb superb.   On A1A, just north of Oakland Park on A1A, east side.

IRELAND's INN - the hotel "across the street from us", actually across A1A and directly on the beach.   We mean directly .    The inside dining room offers a more formal dining experience, while the beachside patio restaurant and bar is definitely swim-wear casual.   Either one provides fabulous views of the ocean and the food is good.   This is a great place to have breakfast, too.

SUSHI-THAI - by far our favorite Thai restaurant ever.   We go there so much the owners make us feel like family.   It is located on US 1 (also called Federal Hwy) on the west side, just north of Oakland Park Blvd.   Look for the entrance to Solid Gold, and Sushi-Thai is in the small strip plaza in front.  

PIZZA RUSTICA - They deliver!   But honestly, you will want to stroll or drive to this small pizzeria and see all of the mouth-watering combinations they offer.   This is the only place we go for pizza ourselves!
